Learn about our expanding early childhood education and care programs and the soon-to-be United Way Early Learning Center at Kaune.

Following breakfast, join us for a brief tour of Kaune Elementary. The school is only minutes from Hotel Santa Fe. Round-trip transporations will be provided.

*Ann Masten studies resilience in human development with a focus on understanding and promoting success in children exposed to poverty, homelessness, war, disaster, and other adversities. She is a Regents Profession and the Irving B. Harris Professor of Child Development at the University of Minnesota. She currently co-chairs the U.S. National Academies Forum on Investing in Young Children Globally. She is the author of the recent book, Ordinary Magic: Resilience in Development, and over 200 other publications. Dr. Masten also offers a mass open online course (MOOC) on resilience in children on Coursera.org.
