Great Start

The arrival of a new baby can be exciting and exhausting all at once. To ease the momentous transition to parenthood, we created Great Start Family Support.  Providing three visits during the first month of a baby’s life, our trained professionals ensure that both parents and their new infants are healthy. Mothers learn what they need to know about breastfeeding and lactation. We also screen for postpartum depression to assess mental health needs and concerns. Parents and caregivers discover how to establish healthy attachments with their baby and access resources and opportunities in the community.
