We united the coalition to create the Early Childhood Education and Care Department. Now New Mexico is leading the country in early childhood innovation. As the first state in the nation to fund the cost of quality care, our efforts are transforming the child care system. It’s all part of the comprehensive Strategic Plan that engaged 23 pueblos, tribes, and nations. Grounded, informed and smarter. That’s why today Growing Up New Mexico has 15,000 activated stakeholders.
